Pizza from a Big Green Egg

Farewell pizza at Ben's new work on Thursday evening. There was a Big Green Egg. It was slightly scary but it cooked the pizza & kept us warm outside, both good things. Three people made pizza dough & there were crazy delicious toppings. Home made pickled eggplant, wild mushrooms, tomato, basil, artichoke, olives, capers, parmesan, mozzarella, caerphilly & the parsley/walnut pesto I made was there too! It was lovely to meet everyone Ben works with at the brewery - I even drank half a beer!

Yes - that is a whole wheel of cheese - Caerphilly, so good.
We may have been taking the pizza out of the crazy egg with a saw but I'd say it turned out pretty well...
